A Season of Angels (Angels Everywhere #1) by Debbie Macomber

Heaven Sent

When three willing but wacky angels — called Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy — are giving Christmas prayer request to answer, there's just one catch: each angel must teach her charge a memorable lesson before the wish can be granted.

I had high hopes for this book but I was let down. All the stories were mixed together and I didn't like this. I would get in the middle of a story and it would switich to a different one. I found this hard to really feel invested in each person and angels. The angels seemed more interested with TV's, Navy ships, and things of this nature than they did of helping make the prayers come true. I keeped having to refer to the back to remember what angel went with each women. I felt a huge disconnect with this book and the characters in it. I normally love Debbie Macomber books but I found this one to be ok at best.
