Delicious (Wicked Lovers #3) by Shayla Black

Luc's entire future is planned out-but there is one very sexy obstacle in his path: Alyssa, a strip club owner with whom Luc recently shared one night of wild abandon. It left Luc terrified by his loss of selfcontrol-and Alyssa desperate for more. But Luc is not the only man desperate to have Alyssa...and that's just one of her secrets-secrets as dark and mysterious and delicious as her fantasies.
After reading this book I had conflicting feelings about Luc. Luc is first introduced in Decadent and Alyssa is introduced in Wicked Ties. Luc is often rude, mean, and judgemental when it comes to Alyssa. I was very surprised because this was not how he was in the last book. Alyssa wants to get to know Luc and show him there is more to her then he knows. Luc does everything in his power to see Alyssa as nothing more than a owner of a strip club. Alyssa doesn't fit into Luc's idea of what his future should be. After much thought I think that is why Luc comes across as such a jerk. He's afraid of the way Alyssa makes him feel. I can understand why she keeps giving him chances even though her head tells her to run. I came to understand why he was acting this way but it still annoyed the hell out of me. Luc keeps thinking the worst of her even as she tries to show him the best. The chemistry between them is so scorching hot and not to be ignored as much as Luc tries. I liked Alyssa she was so different than I thought she might be. She survived many things that would have crushed anyone else. She had faith in them even when he was still thinking the worst of her. I've never seen anyone have so many people after them. The poor woman had three different crazy people after her. I'll admit at times I wanted her to be with Tyler it was so obvious how he felt about her. This was so sweet and sad because you know his feelings were never going to be returned. After Luc stopped fighting how he felt about Alyssa he was able to be the nice, caring, and great guy I remembered from the last book. This was another great book in the wicked series. I would highly recommend this book and the whole series if you like hot man that can give you what you want without having to ask for it.

Dangerous Boys and Their Toy by Shayla Black

Trading orgasms for information isn't their usual way of doing business, but when a missing criminal-turned-star-witness and fifty grand are on the line, bounty hunter R. A. Thorn and Detective Cameron Martinez are prepared to put their bodies to the task and give gorgeous Brenna Sheridan everything she needs.

Soon, their "deal" is no longer about information -- or sex. Emotions bind Brenna, Cam and Thorn together more tightly than they ever imagined as the men protect -- and serve -- the beloved woman neither can live without.

Reader advisory: Book contains some scenes of same-gender sex.
Wow, not sure where to start with this book it was so incredibly hot. This is a fast paced book where Cam and Thorn meet and fall for Brenna quickly. Thorn had a rough up bringing so he was wary to own up to how he felt about Brenna and Cam. Cam is a caring, and open minded guy that knows he wants Brenna & Thorn then pursues them both. Brenna has this sweet innocence about her that pulls Cam and Thorn in from the start. The chemistry between this trio is amazing and total melt worthy. There is m/m touching and sex in this book so if that bothers you don't get this book. I thought Shayla Black dealt with this in a very respectful and sexy way. Thorn was a bit weirded out by his feelings for Cam whom he had been friends with for years and had never looked at in that way. I liked that about this book in some books I've read the straight guy jumps into a m/m relationship with no problems and that's just not believable. This is a short book less than two hundred pages but so worth reading it has action and I'm not just talking about the scorching sex, and danger. My only complaint is that it was a short read I wanted the book to keep going. Although this was a short book I still felt like I got to know Cam, Thorn, and Brenna very well. This is definitely erotica and not romance so if you don't like erotica don't get this but if you like scorching hot men putting it all on the line for the women they love then run don't walk and get this book !!!!

Cross Your Heart (Broken Heart Vampires #7) by Michele Bardsley

After the death of her husband-and her dreams of motherhood-Elizabeth Bretton returned to the family estate in Broken Heart, Oklahoma. Little did she know she would also give up her life as the Silverstone heiress.

But escaping the past isn't that easy-especially with a vengeful ghost trying to kill her, a 150-year-old mystery to solve, and an outrageously hot were-jaguar named "Tez" trying to get into her boudoir...
This book captured my interest from the beginning I couldn't wait to read more. I liked Elizabeth Bretton from the start and Tez was the perfect alpha male. Elizabeth, Tez, and the ghost made for the perfect trio of intrigue. Every time I thought I had it figured out where the book was going the story would take a turn I never saw coming. Tez new what he wanted and went after it with single minded determination. What did he want you ask well.......Elizabeth Bretton on course! There was also the question of why the were-cats wanted Tez. The heat between Tez and Elizabeth is scorching. I loved his attitude and well really everything about him. I loved this book and never wanted it to end. I could have read this book for couple more hundred pages. My only complaint is that this series is just from the females point of view. I would have loved to read what Tez was thinking and his point of view. I love this series and even with me reading these books out of order they still make sense and I'm not left confused or feeling behind. I would highly recommend this series if you like vampires, were-creatures, and things that go bump in the night.

Playing with Fire (Tales of an Extraordinary Girl #1) by Gena Showalter

Earth, Wind & Fire aren't just a band anymore . . .</p>

Used to be my greatest achievement was holding a job more than three days. Now suddenly I can shoot fireballs, chill your drink, or blow-dry your hair at fifty paces with a blink of my eye!

It all started when this crazy scientist dropped something in my Grande Mocha Latte. Of course I got wicked sick. Next morning I'm waking up with this total hottie bending over me. He tells me 1)his name's Rome Masters, 2)he's a government agent and 3)I can control the four elements with a thought.

He seems even less pleased by my (apparently irreversible) transformation than I am . . . Because now he'll have to kill me.

I have to admit that for the first few chapters I was totally annoyed with Belle Jamison . Belle had to support her father so you would think that she would be the perfect employee, but no. Belle would be late by hours, would smart off to customers and in general not care. I did love Rome Masters from the start he was hot and very mysterious. Rome was sent to to kill Belle but I think you can guess that didn't go as planned. Belle never guessed Rome's secret which was so very obvious that she had to be blind or just not very smart ( I think it was a combination of both). I know you may be thinking that I didn't like this book but you would be wrong after a few chapters and after Belle found her brain it was a very good book. I was a bit disappointed that that the book was only from Belle's point of view. One of the things I loved about this book was the other great people you meet along the way. There was action, suspense, and of course romance. Once you got passed Belle's annoying behavior there was just Gena Showalter writing at what she does best paranormal romance. The storyline was incredible and keeped you guessing. The chemistry between Rome and Belle was of the charts. I really enjoyed this book and am very glad I picked it up.

The Darkest Surrender (Lords of the Underworld #8) by Gena Showalter

Possessed by the demon of Defeat, Strider cannot lose a challenge without suffering unimaginable pain. For him, nothing stands in the way of victory. Until Kaia, an enchanting Harpy, tempts him to the razor's edge of surrender.Known among her people as The Disappointment, Kaia must bring home the gold in the Harpy Games or die. Strider is a distraction she can't afford because he has an agenda of his own-steal first prize, an ancient godly artifact, before the winner can be named. But as the competition heats up, only one prize will matter-the love neither had thought possible...matter-the love neither had thought possible...

I didn't read this book I devoured it in a day and a half I couldn't put it down. I loved the chance to get to know Kaia and Strider better. These were two characters that had been mentioned in the other books but we really didn't know that much about. Strider and Kaia's chemistry jumped off the pages to sizzle and burn you. Strider is the ultimate aphla male all insicts and a highly developed sense of possession. Kaia is a beaitful red head that likes to steal for fun and will do what ever it takes to win her man. I loved reading as Strider tried to deny what was sparking between them. The Harpy Games was a great way to learn more about the harpies as a race and see how different Kaia and her sisters are from the rest of thier race. There is was also some hints for Paris's book and a very big hint about who will come after Paris which is due out next year. Darkest Surrender was fully of surprise twist and turns that I didn't see coming. This is truly Gena Showalter at her very best !!! I love this series !!! If you love paranormal books then you have to check out this series. I also love how humor is mixed into all of these books. My only complaint is that I have to wait a year before I can read more!

Hailey's Secret (Passion Victoria #7) by Becky Wilde

Hailey Wood arrives in the town of Passion, Victoria, Australia after two years on the run. She's running from the monster who has destroyed her life.
She inadvertently meets the three sexy, handsome Bartram brothers, she awakens with her screams through the thin walls of her motel room. They burst through her door ready to do battle for the tortured woman.
Dillon, Chance and Roman, want Hailey as soon as they see her, but every time they get near her she flinches away from them. They know Hailey has been hurt by someone in her past, but won't give up until they have her in their arms.
Hailey's monster kidnaps her, the men of Passion come together to try and get to her before her monster can hurt her again.
Will her men get to her time? Will they be able to hold her in their arms again? Or will she be too damaged mentally as well as physically and push them away once more?

Hailey Wood is a sweet, innocent and emotionally damaged young woman. Dillon, Chance and Roman meet her and know that she is the one for them. I know some people will have a issue with the fast pace that they meet and fall in love but this is a short e-book so it has to move quickly. I love how the Bartram brothers felt such a instance connection w/Hailey. All the men in Passion, Victoria take care of the woman of the town and I love that about this series. Dillon, Chance and Roman help Hailey over come the monster after her and find strength she didn't know she had. This is a fast paced story but I still felt like I got to know everyone. The Bartram men are the kind of men a woman would be lucky to find once no less three of these men...... such a lucky girl !!!! I would definitely recommend this series to anyone how loves strong men and hot, hot sex !!!
